| Shopping Atlantic City, New Jersey After winning tons of cash in one of Atlantic City’s casinos, the perfect thing to do is go shopping and buy clothes, jewelry and wonderful gifts. Twelve miles from Atlantic City is the quaint village of Smithville. From Atlantic City it is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway, Atlantic City Expressway and Route 9. The historic shopping village contains more than 60 shop, 4 restaurants, a puppet theatre and museum, a carousel and boating on the lake. The Brownstone Puppet Theatre and Museum is one of only 36 puppet theatres in the United States. A collection of puppets from around the world can be viewed in the theatre.
